How to install and configure the 2Checkout plugin for WordPress

This article describes how to install the 2Checkout plugin for WordPress. The 2Checkout plugin is a WooCommerce extension that enables you to process customer payments securely and help ensure PCI compliance.

  • You must install WordPress on your site before you can install WooCommerce or 2Checkout.
  • This article assumes that you have already installed the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress.

Installing 2Checkout

To install the 2Checkout plugin, follow these steps:

  1. After you purchase 2Checkout, download the plugin .zip file to your local computer.
  2. Log in to your WordPress site as the administrator.
  3. In the left-hand pane, click Plugins.
  4. Click Add New.
  5. Click Browse, select the .zip file on your local computer, and then click Open.
  6. Click Install Now.
  7. After WordPress finishes installing the plugin, click Activate Plugin.

CONFIGURING 2CHECKOUT

After you install the 2Checkout plugin, you can configure it for your store. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress site as the administrator.
  2. In the left-hand pane, click WooCommerce, and then click Settings.
  3. Click the Checkout tab.
  4. Under Payment Gateways, locate 2Checkout, and then click Settings.
  5. Select the settings you want, and then click Save changes.
